Who are we?

We are a group of anglers who enjoy the sport of bass fishing,
competing in a friendly, open environment. We fish a variety of different
types of waters, from "trolling motor" only lakes to Lake Erie, in about 12
tournaments per year. We are a B.A.S.S. Federation club, competing for
the opportunity to fish in B.A.S.S. Federation events. We are a small
cub, not to exceed 30 members. We are active in enhancing the public
knowledge of the sport, by sharing knowledge, educating our youth,
practicing "catch and release", and demonstrating innovative
environmental and conservation methods.

If you have interest in joining our club, please email us at -- efbassanglers@aol.com

Latest Info and Updates --

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

Couple things since it's been a while... Can't believe it's been a month since the classic.

For those who don't know we went to Nickajack Lake for the 2009 classic. Nickajack is located just west of
Chattanooga, TN running between Chickamauga and Guntersville lakes.
True to EFBA form, the wind and rain gods knew we were coming.
Thursday was a bit drizzly when we arrived but cleared up.
Friday was very windy and Saturday wind and rain.
All and all not too bad.

Jim Walker was the winner with 9 fish for 22.46 pounds. Andy Baker was second with 7 fish for 19.44 pounds -
Not too bad considering Mike Kiper's boat had issues and they had to stay in the bay where we launched.
Third was Mike Demasters with 5 fish for 14.85 pounds -
Fourth was Dave Ramer 7 fish at 14.18. Congratulations to the top four finishers as we paid top four.

Big bass honors went to Bob Yokley on Friday with 4.70 and Jim Walker on Saturday with 4.78.
Andy would have beet Bob on Friday but did not get in big bass (forgot what it weighed - wasn't marked down)

There was a total of 107.89 pounds weighed in for the classic -
Not bad considering it was a 15" limit on largemouth and 18" limit on small mouths.
A couple guys forgot about the 12" limit on spots and did not bring them in or we might have had more.

Congratulations to Jim Walker who is again Club Champ with 258 points, followed by me with 238,
then Keith with 234. Attached is the final standings (corrected I think).
